Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy S24 line of flagship smartphones. The recording of the presentation broadcast is available on YouTube.
The new series of flagships includes three models – Galaxy S24, S24+ and S24 Ultra. The key difference between the presented devices and the old ones is the inbuilt support for artificial intelligence (AI). Galaxy AI virtual assistant will be able to translate voice and text while talking on the phone, sort SMS and offer answers to them, create automatic notes. AI will also be used when taking photos and videos.
The base Samsung Galaxy S24 has a 6.2-inch Dynamic LTPO AMOLED 2X screen with 120 hertz support and a maximum brightness of 2600 nits. The smartphone has an Exynos 2400 or Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip – depending on the sales region. The gadget has a minimum of 8 gigabytes of RAM and 128 gigabytes of inbuilt storage. The device has come out with a camera that gets 50, 12 and 10 megapixel lenses. The device has a 4,000 milliamp-hour battery with 25-watt fast charging.
The Galaxy S24+ only differs from the base model with a larger screen to 6.7 inches, 12 gigabytes of RAM at launch, a 4,900 milliamp-hour battery with 45-watt fast charging support.
