Specialists at the Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI) in the UAE have developed a technology that can accurately copy human handwriting. This is reported by Bloomberg.
Scientists have created a model based on artificial intelligence (AI), which has learnt to imitate someone’s handwriting based on just a few paragraphs of written material. The model they developed is able to learn the context and meanings of sequential data.
According to MBZUAI, their technology can fake a particular person’s handwriting quite accurately, including the most significant unique features. The author of the study, Rao Muhammad Anwer, said the potential of the new tool is huge – it will come in handy for deciphering doctors’ handwriting and creating personalised advertising.
