Apple has acknowledged a critical vulnerability in the iPhone and MacBook

Apple has recognised a vulnerability that allows users of some smartphones and computers to be hacked. This is reported by the publication 9to5Mac.

The corporation confirmed the existence of a critical vulnerability and said that they will prepare a patch to fix the problem. This comes after security researchers from the firm Trail of Bits said that the vulnerability, which allows identity theft, is present on iPhone 12 smartphones and MacBook laptops with M2 chip.

The LeftoverLocals vulnerability, the experts revealed, utilises an exploit that allows data stored in the graphics processor to be read. However, a hacker must have physical access to the device to break in.
