In Australia, a crocodile attacked a fisherman and jumped on his boat. This is reported by the Department of Environment, Science and Innovation of the state of Queensland.
The incident occurred in the morning of 31 December near the town of Mackay, Queensland. A local resident was fishing in the Jane Creek River when he noticed a huge crocodile approaching him.
The fisherman quickly moved to the back of the boat and started the engine. The crocodile swam under the bottom of the boat and then turned around and lunged at the fisherman with its mouth wide open. He jumped out of the water and ended up on the side of the boat. The man jumped over the crocodile and tried to raise the anchor. At that moment, the crocodile turned and fell into the water. The fisherman managed to reach the shore safely.
