A crocodile pounced on a nine-year-old boy in a national park

In Australia, a nine-year-old boy was taken to hospital after being attacked by a crocodile. This is reported by ABC News.

The incident occurred in Kakadu National Park, Northern Territory, on Saturday, 13 January. The predator pounced on the child, resulting in serious injuries. The victim was taken to Darwin Hospital by helicopter.

According to the Daily Mirror, the reptile attacked the child when he was swimming in a forbidden place in an area closed to visitors.
