Pakistan says target of strikes on Iran

The only purpose of the strikes on Iranian territory was to ensure Pakistan’s security and national interests. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic.

The ministry stressed that Pakistan fully respects the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Iran. At the same time, it noted that the country’s security and national interests cannot be jeopardised.
